„… Ivan Tudek has offered the familiar image of the desert world on a two-dimensional canvas of large format (Desert Flag, 2010). He has expressed and explored his fascination with the desert landscape in the domain of its symbolic meaning, identifying himself by establishing an entirely new, subjective world and relating himself to it…“

„… Building on the theme of devastation, be it mental or physical, Josipa Štefanec's artwork Clothcather (2010) deals with the problem of individual memories, defined by certain places and events…

… the artist has thus subtly drawn attention to the issue of accumulating commodities, which are turned into waste in out civilized society…

… (objects) – become a play of many opposites: anonymous vs. famous, male vs. female, pure vs. impure, reality vs. imagination.“

„… The space installation of Predrag Pavić (Self-portrait, 2010) reflects the artist's personal participation, since he has claimed the role of the model for himself…

… Expressiveness of the body, the hidden face, its destabilized position, and the theatrical character of the situation establish a powerful interaction with the observer. In that communication space, one finds inevitable associations with the everyday, often tragic, socio-political events that tend to leave us helpless.“

„… These three artists of different sensibilities, who explore the possibilities of the medium that they have chosen to express themselves, speak of our everyday life that we cannot escape from.“
