Since its founding, the Museum of Fine Arts has been collecting, besides works of art, various literature on the subjects of culture, art and art history. At present, library holds more than 23.000 publications and is organised as a specialized library with reading room. In addition to valuable art history surveys, lexicons and monographs, the library holds exceptionally large number of art exhibition catalogues. The library constantly acquires new titles through exchange with similar institutions, purchases and valuable donations. Library users can work in the reading room, with necessary previous appointment.
