Restoration Department of the Museum of Fine Arts specialises in easel painting and polychrome sculpture and systematically preserves and restores the artistic heritage kept in the Museum's collections. Department is in charge of documentation, prevention, conservation and restoration of works from the collection, works included in the permanent display and temporary exhibition projects organized at the Museum. It collaborates with other similar institutions through research, collaboration on projects with exchange of equipment or specific knowledge.
